The History of LD's Filling Station
In 2001, a couple by the name of Harold and Phyllis Edgar wanted to fulfill a longtime dream of opening a breakfast shop. It wasn't long into their venture that they realized a coffee shop wasn't all they were looking for, and decided to create a neighborhood restaurant and bar.
After long discussions on a name for their new business, the decision of LD's was made. Harold & Phyllis wanted this to be a family oriented business and decided to incorporate their children's names, Lori and Daniel, thus creating the name of LD's.
The Filling Station part just seemed to fit in as the whole family is quite fond of vintage cars and the "good ole' days". After many hours of hard work and determination, the dream of LD's Filling Station has become a reality, as well as a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
